NCW Award
L-3 ComCept is recognized for Outstanding Achievement from the Defense Industry
The Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA) awarded L-3 ComCept the Outstanding Achievement from the Defense Industry in Network Centric Warfare (NCW), 21 Jan 2004, for their efforts on Network Centric Collaborative Targeting (NCCT).
| L-3 ComCept was selected by a distinguished panel of experts over a field of strong competitors. The NCW Awards were established to honor, recognize, and promote initiatives in the US Department of Defense (DoD), Coalition Governments, and Defense Industry that exemplify the principles of NCW and support information age transformation. To identify these leading programs and initiatives, IDGA enlisted a panel of defense sector leaders to accurately and objectively evaluate the network-centric innovations that support our military operations. The winners were selected by exemplifying the best in current initiatives and undoubtedly set new standards of excellence for incorporating this transformational concept into future work for the DoD and its partners. L-3 ComCept is honored to be a part of the NCCT team with the Air Force's Big Safari Program Office. |
